Aquaponics 

Problem

We have a problem that was given to us, the class and everyone had to solve this problem a different way. Many chose a basic simple way but there was a few that went above and beyond the point of basic. The problem consisted of you have to build an aquaponics project. In this project you have to look up and research how to build a system and that system has to pull the fish poop out of the tank and provide the waste and water to your plant so that it can grow and thrive. The fish has to be fed by you but the plant only needs constant water and waste from the tank. The water will cycle and be returned right back into the than.

Solution

There were and are many solutions to the problem presented to the class and to the individuals in the class. I chose to go with a simple yet effective way to solve my problem. I started with going to get all of my materials. I laid all of my materials out and got to work. I started with finding where I wanted my project to set. I soon followed with placing my fish tank in the bottom of my drawers. I then super glued the bottom for extra support and to make sure it did not tip and fall. I then hooked up my smaller filter and my water pump and hose. I cut a hole in the top drawer and placed the pot on top so that it could drain back into the tank.
